The Sons of the American Legion held its normal monthly meeting June 18. In attendance were Deone Harty, Gene Hill, Donnie Polstin and Bill Nenno.

The 2013-2014 slate of officers was approved an installed.  They are as follows:

Membership continues on an appropriate pace.  As of our June transmittal we now have 85 paid members for 2013.  This should be our peak membership for this year as we will be getting new membership cards at annual state convention held the weekend of the 29^th and 30^th of June.  The S.A.L. still has openings so if you would like to attend as a S.A.L delegate please see me.

Benefit Dinner : We are in the early stages of planning a benefit dinner towards the ends of July.  Tentatively it will be an enchilada dinner but more information will be forthcoming as we firm up.

The Sons of the American Legion held its normal meeting May 21, third Tuesday of the month. A quorum was not in attendance.

Special Session: The election of officers for the S.A.L. has been put off for three months because of a lack of quorum (three members) at our last three meetings. The S.A.L slate of officers has to be set this month and so a special session was held. This meeting was attended by Gene Hill, Bob Nellis and Bill Nenno. At that special session the following slate of S.A.L officers were set for the coming year.
