Commander Gene Hill

The SAL held their monthly meeting October 17, 2017.

Attending was Donnie Polston, Deone Hardy, Bill Laswell, Bill Nenno, Tillman Smith, Bob Nellis, Gene Hill and Al Norton.

After the meeting was opened Mr. Al Norton, Commander Post 44 talked about the activities at the post. This was very informative and we appreciate Al taking the time to attend our meeting.

Membership
The Early Bird drawing was held at the meeting and the winner was Gene Hill. He will get is 2018 membership paid for by the SAL .If you haven’t paid your dues for 2017, now is a good time to get current. You must be current before you can get a 2018 card.

Membership cards for 2018 are now in. Early Bird is from now until September 1st. If you haven’t paid your dues for 2017, now is a good time to get current. You must be current before you can get a 2018 card.

Events
Let’s all remember the First Responders on 9/11. Setting around the post you will see donation jars. This money will be used to purchase water, gator aid and protein bars for these people. Help the post help this group of men and women that at times you don’t remember until you need them.
