The SAL held their monthly meeting May 21, 2019.

Membership:
The membership is going well. We have 103 paid members as of today. We didn’t reach our goal of 100% as we had hoped for.

Officers
Election of Officers for 2020 was held May 21. The present officers will remain for 2020. They are as follows:

Gene Hill – Commander
Donnie Polstin – 1st Vice
Deone Harty – 2nd Vice
Bill Nenno – Finance Officer
Tillman Smith –  Sergeant at Arms

Events
Members of the SAL would like to thank everyone who came out in support of our Rib Dinner. We had a great turnout and we had fun doing it. Sorry we ran out of ribs. Next dinner we have, this will not happen.

The SAL will be cooking the Chicken fried steak dinner on the third Wednesday starting in June.

Meeting
The next SAL meeting will be June18 at 6:30pm at the Post. Plan on being at the meeting and become an active member in the post.

May is here which means warm weather for Fishing, Boating, Golfing and just warm weather fun.

Membership:
The membership is going well. We have better than 90% paid members at this time. We need to have 100% by the end of May. There is a lot of renewal cards at the post that needs to be picked up. If you don’t request your new card to be mailed they will be at the post.

Donations
A donation of $150.00 for the fire work display to Friends of Elephant Butte.
