Calendar:Next Riders meeting will be on the first Tuesday of the month: May 6th at the Post at 6:30pm. The next scheduled ride would be on May 10th. The 10th is also “Second Saturday Breakfast”.

Charles and Carolyn Druce resigned from Post 44 earlier this month. No specific reason was given.

A special meeting of the Chapter 5 e-board was convened on April 6th to fill officer positions left vacant. Jerry Garlow was confirmed as Chapter 5 President. Jim Coslin gracefully agreed to take up the reins again as Vice President. All other officer positions remain the same.

Other Activities

An extra State NMALR meeting was held on April 26th to take care of left-over business from Mid-winter Conference. The single item most affecting Chapter 5 is that it was agreed that the State Picnic would be held at Elephant Butte Lake State Park on the second weekend of August. The Dirt Damn – Rally Site has been secured for that event. More news to follow.
