New Mexico American Legion Riders (about 30 bikes) rode into T or C Saturday. They all came here to serve the staff lunch. The riders gathered at the wall, then went to the Veteran’s home and set up to grill hamburgers and brats with the fixings. Banana bread and cookies were served for desert. The staff came for lunch when convenient. The riders visited with individual veterans in the home and enjoyed sharing stories with the old veterans. It was a beautiful day for a picnic in the courtyard.

After 4 p.m., the riders convened at American Legion 44. A potato bar was served with all the toppings. The riders had a great time playing pool and enjoying Post 44. Thanks to the Chapter 5 ALR riders for your participation and helping this event.
