Tombstone Arizona to join with Arizona Riders and participate in various events associated with their state-wide “Campout.” The local American Legion Post 24 ALR did a great job hosting the event.

It was a full-on Rally with poker runs, free food, bike games etc all set in the atmosphere of Tombstone “The Town Too Tough to Die.” A great time.

This year’s Convention will be held in Alamogordo from May 23rd to the 26th “The Call” for the Riders has been distributed by email.

For the first year since the inception of the OWW program, all funds raised by NMALR for their OWW program will remain in the state of New Mexico.

This year the plan is to visit and offer aid to the State Veterans home in TorC, Ft. Bayard, the tent city in the Mesilla Valley Community of Hope, the Oak Street reintegration apartment complex in Las Cruces. The next state-wide telethon and Wal-Mart fundraiser is currently set for the first weekend in August

Our monthly meetings are held at Post 44 on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. –

Feel free to drop in, guests are always welcome.

If you are interested in being in the ALR but don’t have a bike – we have a place for you. Ask any ALR Officer or Member for details – membership is $15 plus vest and patches.
