Rider Activities July, 2013

Scheduled Ride:  The ride scheduled for the 6th of July was postponed until the 13th.  Snoopy, Duffy and Husker were the dedicated souls who hit the trail to San Antonio.  They had lunch at the Owl Bar and Cafe where they had a nice conversation with Roweena, the proprietor.

The weather was cooperative and they had a good ride up the “Old Highway”.  Apparently they had a chance to brush up on their deer herding skills up near the museum in the Bosque when one frisky critter nearly collided with Duffy and his motorcycle.   Now remember, these are the same guys who reported the camel sighting near Array not too long ago (although that sighting was eventually confirmed…)
