Calendar: Next Riders meeting will be on the first Tuesday of the month: October 7th at the Post, at 6:30pm. The next scheduled ride would be on October 11th. That is also coincident with second Saturday breakfast.

The 11th was a special occasion as Chapter 5 members participated in a Nine/Eleven candle light vigil; organized by the American Legion Family. Riders President Jerry Garlow was one of the speakers addressing the crowd. The Riders contributed many cases of water, Gatorade and granola bars to the fire departments.
The 14th was Elephant days and, as usual Chapter 5 participated in the parade with a couple motorcycles and riders in the parade.
The 16th marked the first of the regularly scheduled shifts when Chapter 5 members act as hosts at the Diane Hamilton Military Museum. Chapter 5 has committed to that on an ongoing basis. Later that evening a regularly scheduled non-business / happy hour meeting was held at the Post.
On the 23rd our Road Captain led several members of Chapter 5 (and nearly as many guests) to Deming for lunch. Good ride, good weather, good food!
Our monthly meetings are held at Post 44 on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. – Feel free to drop in, guests are always welcome.
