Newsletter – March 2020

Commander – David Thibeau
February was busy. Our Post Adjutant Tom Cleveland worked hard to bring back Pull-Tabs to the Post. A record rain and snow caused several roof leaks which have been repaired. We also had an electrical problem which was fixed by our SAL Commander Gene Hill. We enjoyed the February activities with special thanks to Richard and Linda for their hard work in preparing a delicious Mardi Gras feast.

Remember always, we are the Post 44 Family – Legionnaires, Auxiliary, Sons, and Riders, and we thrive best when we work together to serve our veterans, their families, and our community.

Our next General Membership Meeting is Saturday, March 21st at 10:30 a.m. Nominations for Post officers will close at the end of the March meeting. If you are interested in serving your Post as an officer, please put your name on the Sign-Up Board near the bar at the Post or contact Tom Cleveland or Al Norton.

Finance Officer- Bill Conklin
I would like to thank the post for electing me as the financial officer, with Ellen needing to attend other projects in her life. I’m getting re-advised with the post operations and plan on keeping everyone advised of our financial situation. If you have any questions please direct them to me via email (williamconklin52@yahoo.com) I’ll get you a answer. Thanks for your support.
