The March General Membership meeting on the 16th will be the last day to accept nominations for the 2019-2020 officers. It is good to see a new name on the board!
All private clubs in the state are working together to convince the state to allow us to have Pull Tab sales back. This has been a long hard effort. So far the Bill (177) has passed the Senate by a vote of 44-0. The bill is moving to the House for vote soon.
Activities Committee is working to make more activities available. The only way we can be successful is by member participation in our clubs programs. The Chicken Fried Steak for February was a financial burden on our Post. Any suggestion to improve member participation would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you Charlene for finding Double Trouble band, I think they were great and hope they will return soon. What do you think?
Remember that member participation in the Post events is our life blood.
God Bless you all, the American Legion, our troops and our beloved United States of America!

February was a good month for the post. The Valentines dinner was a huge success and we stayed in the black financially putting it on. The front entrance was mostly finished in February and expenses for that addition ran as expected. Looking forward to March we are entering scholarship season. Hopefully we will be able to help some well deserving high school seniors achieve their goal of attending college. We continue on a strong financial footing as we head into spring.
Activities Committee – Linda Ross
