Commander – David Thibeau
Thank you 1st Vice Commander Mike Behnen for a job well done in getting our pool tables refurbished, and especially for personally funding the entire project. When you see Mike, please thank him yourself. It’s time to nominate candidates for 2022‐2023 officer positions. The sheets for self‐nomination have been posted on the bulletin board at the Post. To hold an office, a nominee must be a Post 44 Legionnaire in good standing. Nominations will be accepted until the close of the March General Membership meeting. Elections are held at the April General Membership Meeting. For more information on becoming an officer or to submit a nomination, contact Tom Cleveland, Jimmy Short, or any current officer.

The Post currently needs a 2nd Vice Commander to fill the unexpired term of Barbara Thompson. If interested, please contact a current officer.

Volunteers are always needed in the kitchen for Wednesday meals and Friday Grill. Signup sheets are on the kitchen door.

Due to increasing food and kitchen supply costs, prices have been raised on most items on the Friday Grill menu. Also, effective February 1, all drink prices increased by $0.25 cents. Drink specials are not affected by the increase at this time.

Thank you all for your continued support and participation in all club activities. Stay healthy and focused on our mission of serving veterans, their families, and our community.

The next General Membership meeting is Saturday, February 19th, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Post.
