The 2017-2018 fiscal year has come to a close. The post continued to operate in the black throughout the year with the bar earning almost $49,000 in revenue and gaming contributing over $8,600 in the month of May.

Once again we must give a big thanks to the SAL who stepped up and contributed $1,000 to help replenish money that was used for the purchase of the kegerator.

Ellen Pennington will now be taking over the responsibilities of Finance Officer and is more than capable of moving our post in a positive financial direction.

As we head into the last month of our fiscal year we continue to operate in the black. The bar continues to bring in above average revenue and gaming will contribute over $7,000 for the third month in a row.

The Happy Feet fundraiser was a huge success as the goal for purchasing new bar mats was exceeded. Thanks to Bob Acre and everyone else that supported our bartenders. The excess money will go toward the purchase of a new kegerator. The old cooler was on its last leg and the Executive Committee decided to bite the bullet and purchase a new one before we were caught in a bad situation. The new mats are installed and the new kegerator has been delivered and will be installed ASAP. The kegerator cost about $3,000 (with a rebate of about $550 for minor damage during shipping) so we will be looking at ways to raise money to offset that unexpected expense.
