The Commanders from Post 44 and Sons of the American Legion and the Presidents of the Legion Riders and Legion Auxiliary Unit 44 visited a class from Grades 2 through 6.
The students learned what a Veteran is and why we annually celebrate Veterans Day. The Legion Family handed out American Flags, patriotic comic books and patriotic wristbands to the students after the class discussions.
