Auxiliary member Nancy Trueblood is preparing a lasagna dinner on Wednesday, March 2nd. We will also be holding our Mardi Gras costume contest along with a 50/50 raffle the same evening; first prize is $50.00; 2nd prize is 2 dinners at the Legion, and 3rd prize is 2 top shelf drinks. We’ll see you on Wednesday, March 2nd. Our next bake sale is Saturday, March 5th; set up is at 9:00 a.m., sale is from 10-2:00 p.m. Please contact me if you wish to bake or help out.

Shamrocks will be available from your bartender; they’re $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. The drawing will be held on Thursday, March 17th at 4:00 p.m.

You all are invited to play cards every Monday at 1:00 p.m. Bring your game of choice. Bunco is being held Thursday, March 10th and 24th at 1:30 at the Post.

We’re having a pizza cook-off on Wednesday, March 30th at 5:00 p.m. Build your own at home and bring to the Post to cook. Sue Barr will be providing the music that evening.

We have started a pen pal project at the Veterans’ Home. Those who would like to correspond with a resident please write a note introducing you and tell a little about yourself. Place it in an envelope with a self addressed stamped postcard so the resident will be able to respond. You may leave them in my box, I will pick them up and forward to the Veteran’s Home.

Our general membership meeting will be March 19th, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Our Mid‐winter conference is scheduled for February 4th‐6th, 2022 in Albuquerque, if you are interested in going, please contact me.

The super bowl game is scheduled for Sunday, February 13th; it’s a potluck starting at 4:00 p.m. When you get to the Post you’ll notice lots of footballs hanging up around the bar area, you can purchase 1 for $1.00 or 6 for $5.00. The drawing will be during half‐time of the game. You don’t have to be present to win, but please put your phone number on the back. Proceeds are: 50% to the winner, 25% for the bartender and 25% to the Post. Good luck!
